The closest he's ever been to hoisting the Stanley Cup, Alex Ovechkin looked demonic moments before puck-drop in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final in Las Vegas Thursday.

With the Golden Knights facing elimination, and the Capitals one win away from the first Stanley Cup in franchise history, Ovechkin was staring lasers through NBC hockey analyst Pierre McGuire in his pre-game interview.

"If the look on his face was any indication," said John Walton on the Caps radio broadcast, "he's ready to rip the doors off this thing tonight."

Take one look at that man and ask yourself this question: Which side would you rather be on?
