The Washington Capitals got out of their funk and took a bit of their frustrations out on the Calgary Flames Friday night, winning their first game back from the NHL All-Star break 4-3.
With the score level at 3-3, the Caps grabbed a late-winner on the power play thanks to Evgeny Kuznetsov's brilliant effort.

After the final horn things got testy when Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom left a late one on the Flames' Johnny Gaudreau.

It is never smart to mix it up with a team coming off a seven-game losing skid.

Big fight here at the end...Brooks Orpik throwing haymakers...Tom Wilson is crushing dudes. This is pretty fun. Holtby jawing with Tkachuk. #Caps #Flames.
