In just two tweets, Dez Bryant opened the door on a potential future in Washington after one afternoon of watching football on the couch.

The first tweet was an observation of the game:

The redskins looking nice it’s a bunch of East Texans over.. I’m just saying

Then, responding to a fan who was begging Bryant to re-sign in Dallas, the former All-Pro receiver listed the benefits of playing in New England and Washington:

Naw I’m ok.. I rather go somewhere I can show case my skills for real.. if I line up next to Gronk hogan Edelman I’m for sure getting a 1 on 1 match up plus I won’t be getting criticized controlled for expressing my love for the game..Washington is cool as well https://t.co/lywVw8QzIa

Whatever happened in Dallas, Bryant clearly wants to stick it to Jerry Jones and the team that left him behind.

The question closer to home is whether or not Bryant would actually make this team better. This is a Redskins team that pitched a road shutout of the Cardinals until the fourth quarter, piling up 400 yards of offense. Bryant would take a while to settle into the offense and may not like playing a supporting role.

Then again, if Bryant sits at home for long enough, he may take any offer to come back to the NFL.
