Is Tom Wilson a hero or a villain? That depends on your zip code.
Wilson does a little bit of everything for the Capitals, but he seems to relish laying the boom on Pittsburgh Penguins.
On Tuesday night in front of a hostile arena, he absolutely blasted Zach Aston-Reese, knocking the latter to the ice. After composing himself, Aston-Reese skated off under his own power but chucked his glove at Wilson on the bench.
In the aftermath, 106.7 The Fan's Chris Russell and Grant Paulsen had differing takes on whether or not the hit was dirty:
Call me crazy. I think the Tom Wilson hit was clean. The man with three names had several seconds to avoid the blow and didn't. #Caps

May 2, 2018 Not a great angle but this is the view that made me think the hit was not clean. Skate up. Shoulder to face. Had no issues with game two. This could be a major issue. #Caps pic.twitter.com/cK9RZLDCFZ
