Is Tom Wilson a hero or a villain? That depends on your zip code.
Wilson does a little bit of everything for the Capitals, but he seems to relish laying the boom on Pittsburgh Penguins.
On Tuesday night in front of a hostile arena, he absolutely blasted Zach Aston-Reese, knocking the latter to the ice. After composing himself, Aston-Reese skated off under his own power but chucked his glove at Wilson on the bench.
Oh, and the partisan crowd let Wilson have it:

In the aftermath, 106.7 The Fan's Chris Russell and Grant Paulsen had differing takes on whether or not the hit was dirty:
Call me crazy. I think the Tom Wilson hit was clean. The man with three names had several seconds to avoid the blow and didn't. #Caps
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) May 2, 2018Not a great angle but this is the view that made me think the hit was not clean. Skate up. Shoulder to face. Had no issues with game two. This could be a major issue. #Caps pic.twitter.com/cK9RZLDCFZ
