Who wants this $500 Bryce Harper ball cap?

Regardless of what he does this season (or chooses to do in free agency), Bryce Harper has already carved out his spot as a D.C. sports legend. 

He is worth paying for a ticket to see him play.


He is probably worth paying for his jersey if you're into that kind of thing.

But is he worth a limited edition hat made out of a jersey? That's between you and your bank account.

New Era announced a new hat design using real jerseys belonging to some of the best players in the game. Not the best player on every team, just a handful of players likely to contend for the MVP title at the end of the year.

Harper is one of those players, and if you have $500, you could be one of 90 proud owners of a trendy hat.

This might be the most expensive Nationals memorabilia that isn't autographed or game-worn. The cost seems to be based on the fact that it is artificially rare.
