With the NFL season entering Week 2, don't take any chances and risk losing your second matchup. Make the smart decision and go with your gut.

Who to start, and who to sit this week in fantasy football:

Start 'Em

QB: Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers
Opponent: at New York Jets

Jimmy Garoppolo will get the chance to bring the 49ers back to .500 Sunday in a matchup with the Jets. The reigning NFC Champion threw for 259 yards and two scores in Week 1 against the visiting Cardinals, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. The Jets will be scrambling in Week 2, and Jimmy G should be able to capitalize.

RB: Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Opponent: vs. Minnesota Vikings

Jonathan Taylor's role in the Colts offense is about to expand after the news of Marlon Mack's season-ending Achilles injury. The rookie will carry a much larger role in the offense and should be in for a terrific outing against the Vikings.

WR: Emmanuel Sanders, New Orleans Saints
Opponent: at Las Vegas Raiders

The Saints travel to Sin City in Week 2 for a matchup with the Raiders. With Michael Thomas banged up and expected to miss time, expect Drew Brees to look to Emmanuel Sanders as his number one option in the passing game outside of Alvin Kamara. Sanders had a minimal role in Week 1, despite finishing with 10.5 points, but look for his targets to increase with Thomas limited or sidelined.

TE: Noah Fant, Denver Broncos
Opponent: at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Broncos sophomore standout flashed in the season-opener against the Tennessee Titans. Noah Fant put on a show, hauling in five receptions for 81 yards and a score in just the first half. Despite a tough matchup with the Steelers, look for Drew Lock to heavily target his number one option in Week 2 as he adds to his breakout campaign.

Sit 'Em

QB: Daniel Jones, New York Giants
Opponent: at Chicago Bears

Danny Dimes struggled in the season opener for the Giants on the road in Pittsburgh against a dominant defensive front. The sophomore signal-caller threw two interceptions along with two touchdowns, and the turnover issue for the former Duke standout continues in Year No. 2. After turning the ball over 30 times in 2019 (12 INTs and 18 fumbles), a date with the Monsters of the Midway in Chicago will give Jones another rough afternoon.

RB: Mark Ingram II, Baltimore Ravens
Opponent: at Houston Texans

It appears that John Harbaugh has found his heir apparent to veteran Mark Ingram II. The Ravens selected Ohio State star J.K. Dobbins back in April's draft and the rookie dazzled in the opener against the Cleveland Browns, taking away valuable touches from the former Heisman Trophy winner. Dobbins scored two touchdowns on just seven carries in his NFL debut, finishing the afternoon with 14.2 points. Ingram, on the other hand, averaged just 2.9 YPC on ten attempts, for a measly 2.9 points. The baton has been passed in Charm City.

WR: DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
Opponent: vs. Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins breakout star from a season ago was injured in the opener against the Patriots. DeVante Parker aggravated a left hamstring injury in the second half and he did not return. Parker hauled in 1,202 receiving yards in 2019, in his first season playing all 16 games. If he does take the field Sunday against the Bills, he will have a tough afternoon going up against Tre'Davious White. Leave Parker on the bench.

TE: Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Opponent: vs. Carolina Panthers

The Bucs underperformed in Week 1 on the road against the New Orleans Saints and in his return to the NFL after a yearlong hiatus, Rob Gronkowski looked a step slow. For fantasy managers expecting to see Gronk's resurgence, it didn't happen. The future Hall-of-Famer hauled in just two receptions for 11 yards on three targets. 3.1 fantasy points from your tight end most likely did not help you win your matchup. In Week 2, expect more of the same against the Panthers.
