Time for a little would you rather to open Thursday’s Grant & Danny, live on a Football Thursday from Rudy’s in Alexandria!
We know that the Commanders want to build a new stadium somewhere, and the way is being paved to demolish RFK Stadium and maybe return that land to the District of Columbia – but we also know that Ted Leonsis has asked the city for $600 million to upgrade Capital One Arena, under possibility of the Caps and Wizards moving to Northern Virginia.
That’s not to take into account Nats Park needs some love, too, but Grant & Danny present the conundrum: if only one group gets the money and one stays out of the District, would you rather see a new Commanders stadium and let Monumental move their base to NoVa, or keep the Caps and Wizards in town and have the new Commanders digs elsewhere?
