Not the best week with nature for JP Finlay, who had to deal with a tick bite and the subsequent fear of health compromise earlier this week – and now, it's the canines causing him consternation.
Actually, it's his dog causing the chaos, as he has neighbors who are "those people" when it comes to pet relief.
"I had another thing on my list, and I feel it could be controversial: have you seen the people who put the signs on their front lawn to keep your dog off their yard?" JP asked. "I have some neighbors who really seem to care for their yard, huzzah to them, but where do you want the dog to go?"
JP's neighborhood is hilly and doesn't have sidewalks, so when he's out walking his pooch, sometimes the doggie needs to get on the grass to avoid the pitfalls of suburban life.
"There's trash trucks, and with the size of these landscaping vehicles, where do you want us to go when we're walking?" he asked 'With all due respect, we live in a world where dogs are part of it. Where do you want him to go?"
We might start a GoFundMe for JP's neighbor's lawn care, or some wee-wee pads or something, but in the meantime, just listen to the tone of his voice for yourself to see how upset he was!
