Myles Garrett isn’t the only pass rusher who has some hops.
So does 38-year-old DeMarcus Ware.
The former Cowboys and Broncos star took notice of Garrett’s viral box jump video last week, in which the Cleveland Browns defensive end managed to pull off a 64-inch box jump.
His hops came following a basketball highlights video that showed Garrett could hoop as well, with the former first overall pick asking Mark Cuban if the Mavericks needed a big guard.
Well, Ware was inspired by Garrett and wanted to see if at his age, and 12 years of playing in the NFL under his belt, that he can also get some air.
The nine-time Pro Bowler stacked his mats up to 66 inches — two more than Garrett — but decided to give himself a running start.
Ware perfected the jump, then made an offer to Garrett.
“Myles, imagine me on one side and you on the other side?” he said. “Dude, we will crush the quarterback. Come on, man.”
Ware has not played in the NFL since 2016, but clearly he has plenty of athleticism left.
