The Commanders will travel to Michigan to meet with QB J.J. McCarthy, a smart move given you never know what could happen before or in the Draft, and always exhaust all options.
That said, it seems like NFL teams are being way less patient with signal-callers in general, moving on from young QBs much faster than in the past – see also Sam Howell, Justin Fields, Mac Jones etc.
