The Commanders schedule is out, so it’s time for predictions. How will Washington fare through the first half of the season?
So much can happen by the second half of the year, so BMitch and Finlay kept focus on the first eight weeks, and BMitch is much more hopeful than Finlay.
“Eagles at home, I cede the floor to tell me the win is coming here,” Finlay said, believing that 2-4 in the division this year seems like the logical prediction, while only two wins will come through the first eight weeks of the season. “I have them at 2-6. I got wins at the Cardinals and Bears.”
As for BMitch, he can see the Commanders faring better in the NFC East, including splitting with the likely divisional favorite Eagles.
“If they lose the first week, I see them winning the second,” BMitch said. “It doesn’t matter how good either team is, they always seem to split. I got 3-3-2.
Finlay thought that was a little too friendly.
“I fear I’m the one who is at least in the realm of possibility,” Finlay said.
