BMitch can't believe people are upset Josh Harris is in Commanders' QB interviews at the Combine

Josh Harris being at the NFL Scouting Combine, and sitting in on and participating in the quarterback interviews with his front office, is going to be a very polarizing topic here in DC.

The Junkies seemed to think it wasn’t a big deal as long as he was listening in and giving some feedback, but maybe not ultimately part of the process otherwise, and JP Finlay thinks it shouldn’t be a surprise but it is ‘a little weird he’s in every meeting’ – but how does an actual ex-NFL player feel?

“I don't think it's a problem, and why is it weird? This man just spent $6 billion and this is his first time doing it, and he wants to see exactly what goes on,” BMitch said. “People gotta stop with this crap about just because Snyder did something – Snyder did not participate in the interviews, he ran the damn interviews and told them who they were going to interview! Why wouldn't this man sit in the room and try to at least figure out what's going on, so next time he don't have to sit there? He wants to be familiar with everything I'm dealing with. He's coming from basketball where the owners and the players are talking all the time, so maybe he's thinking like that, so I'm not gonna knock him because of that.”

“B, a lot of people feel that way though, honestly. The Dan Snyder PTSD is real,” JP replied.

And Brian just had to go off on that again.

“This man is not Dan Snyder, okay? Let’s get that straight. You’ve already seen this dude go and work, and he's nothing like Dan, but the fact that he wants to sit in on the meeting? I don't think there's nothing wrong with that. I don't think he's gonna be saying, ‘well, you gotta choose this guy.’”

Harris said in September he wants to be clued into the process but not necessarily making the decisions, which JP called ‘fairly reasonable – and to be fair, every owner in the NFL is going to be involved in what happens with the No. 2 pick, period.”

But, we have to look at it independent of Snyder, too.

“Everyone is judging him still based off of what Dan did, and we do that, the fans do it, but then they blame us because they're thinking that’s just the way you think. If you're going to start looking forward and try to change up things, you gotta stop thinking the way you've been thinking,” BMitch said. “He basically told you already, I want to be familiar with it. So, he's being familiar with it, and why would it be so much different now when he already told you what he was trying to do?”

Landfill things it’s a little concerning for a few reasons, and some callers then chimed in with the guys – take a listen to it all above!
