Josh Harris has bought into Joe Gibbs Racing, with the outlet owned by the legendary Commanders coach saying it has “received a significant investment” for a minority equity stake from Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, which will give Gibbs limited partnership on HBSE, if approved by the NBA and NHL (and perhaps eventually the NFL).

There were reports a while back that Gibbs may be a limited partner in the Harris bid for the Commanders, which didn’t pan out…but now, technically, maybe he will be?

“Josh is smart – he said if I can’t get you to work with me, I’m gonna work with you!” BMitch laughed.

“I think if you are a Commanders fan, you can really like this or not,” JP replied. “At times, coach Gibbs was really close to Dan Snyder.”

Was he, though?

“Coach Gibbs is never going to be mean to you, because he’s a smart man – so when someone says, ‘oh, yeah, I’m very close with Joe Gibbs,’ are they really?” BMitch asked. “Or, is it that Joe Gibbs is smart enough and ultimately a nice person who looks at the best in people.”

Regardless of Gibbs’ personality, Harris now has stakes in the NFL (already due to the Steelers), NBA, NHL, EPL, and now NASCAR, making him one of the power players in sports for sure?
