Although Carson Wentz will have missed at least four games by the time he returns to the field, he's remained a constant presence for the Washington Commanders.

Wentz has missed three games since breaking the ring finger on his throwing hand in Washington's Week 6 win over the Bears, and he will miss Monday night's game against the Eagles, too, before he's eligible to return.

As Taylor Heinicke (2-1 this season) has filled in for him on the field, Wentz hasn't missed any time with his teammates. Whether on the sidelines of the game or practice field, Wentz has stuck around.

Defensive captain Jonathan Allen — during his weekly appearance with The Sports Junkies, presented by MainStreet Bank — says their interactions with Wentz haven't really changed since he's been hurt.

"Honestly, the interactions have been pretty similar," Allen said on 106.7 The Fan. "I mean, Carson's a great guy to have in the locker room, so he's just out there supporting, being supportive, very included in everything that we're doing."

"So, even though he's not playing, it's like he [never left] as far as how much we interact with each other," he said.

Wentz will be eligible to return from the Injured List as of Tuesday, Nov. 15.
