Doc Walker is already putting the Josh Harris ownership group on notice.
After watching the Commanders lose to the lowly Bears at home, Doc says Harris and company need to be working towards an overhaul with the coaching staff or front office, otherwise they appear to be a group without a concrete plan.
“At some point, you have to put a little pressure on those who are in charge of making the selections. Sooner or later, it’s a failed experiment or it’s not,” Doc said. “You should have figured this out before you bought the team. I’m only a week or two away from starting to question them. You paid $6 billion, and you didn’t have a Plan B ready? You don’t have someone consulting you right this very second, telling you what you need to do immediately? Then I’m going to question you.
“You bought a last-place product. You should have been so much more aggressive in the beginning. Don’t act like you bought the defending champions.
Right now, you’re a little too casual for me. I don’t want to ruin 2024 because you’re scared of stepping on a toe in 2023. This whole operation to me is too casual.”
