Another day, another former Dallas Cowboy heading to the Washington Commanders.

According to reports, former Cowboys defensive end Dante Fowler is set to sign a deal with the Commanders. The details of the deal have not yet be revealed, but Washington has not handed out any deals longer than three years this period so far.

Fowler spent the last two seasons with Dallas under new Commanders head coach Dan Quinn, playing in 34 games with 40 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 10 sacks - and he had a career-high 14.1% pass rush win rate last season in 202 snaps against the pass, per PFF.

Fowler originally came to the Cowboys after two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, in which he had 7.5 sacks in 28 games. His time in Atlanta was preceded by a year and a half with the Rams, where had his best year as a pro in 2019, finishing with 11.5 sacks. He was, originally, the No. 3 overall pick by Jacksonville in 2015.

Fowler is the third Cowboy to join the Commanders, alongside fellow DE Dorance Armstrong and center Tyler Biadasz.
