Sam Howell said yesterday that he wants to play well and give the Commanders a chance to win, so he doesn’t look too much at what he’s doing at a personal level – and said that knowing how pass-heavy the Commanders offense has been in recent weeks.
Grant has heard quite a bit of scuttlebutt about Sam Howell ‘being the guy,’ and there’s all the rumors about Bill Belichick coming to DC, but that leads him to a pair of questions: if we’re confident Howell is the guy, shouldn’t that mean we’re confident in the job Bieniemy has done, and is there a ‘needle to be thread here’ that if Howell keeps playing well, EB needs to stick around somehow?
