We know the rebuild is on in Washington, and it will start with Josh Harris, Adam Peters, and now Dan Quinn likely working with a No. 2 overall pick at QB.
Sometimes it takes a few years to bring a fairly blank slate to prominence, and sometimes, as is the case in Houston, all it takes is a new coach, a new QB, and some spark to turn an also-ran into a sprinter - so how long do the Junkies think this rebuild this thing here with the Commanders?

“If you set the bar are go to the playoffs a couple times in four years and have a shot? I’ll take Dan Quinn to do that,” EB said. “I’ll bet against anybody taking their team to the Super Bowl, because it’s so hard. But I think he will be successful in the sense that we’ll be better and more competitive, and make the playoffs a couple times.”
“Unless you have the next Lawrence Taylor, you can’t burn a No. 2 pick anywhere else if you have a screaming need at QB,” Cakes said. “Even if you do have that long-term view of a rebuild, and maybe take the QB in Year 2, I think they’re obviously looking to jump start it in Year 1.”
JP brought up how quickly Brian Daboll turned around the Giants, and while the G-Men regressed this year, there are other reasons – and Drab thinks Quinn isn’t any worse than anyone else in the NFC East.
“If you believe in Adam Peters and all these other positive things we’ve said about the team and their cap space and draft picks, I think Quinn can succeed,” JP said, “and I don’t think it’ll take that long.”
“In a perfect world, nine or 10 would be great, but if you say they win seven games next year, that’s a step forward,” EB replied.
Take a listen to that entire convo, and one about Quinn’s ceiling, above!
