The new website The 33rd Team has a lot of NFL alumni as contributors, and recently, they decided to have ChatGPT’s AI rank all 32 NFL uniforms…which is something Eric Bickel, who admits he’s a crusty old man sometimes, can’t even fathom.
“I put no stock in this!” an incredulous EB bellowed. “How can AI even do something like this? I’ve used it before just to test it, and it was a lot of nonsense.”
“I don’t know what input they used, but the Top 8 are all kind of traditional powers,” JP said. “Teams that have won Super Bowls, with iconic uniforms.”
Bish agreed, but yet, here it is, with the Packers at No. 1, a thing JP’s reaction to was ‘eh,’ even though he has a friend
“If you have half a brain, you could see websites that are all AI-generated, and all just very bland,” EB said. “It’s a shame Cakes is on vacation, because this is right up his alley.”
“I was talking to a guy who owns a company with 100 employees, and he had to write end of the year reports for all of them,” Bish said. “That used to take him weeks, and he said with AI, it took him a couple days.”
The Commanders’ ranking was…28th, which is where they fall on a lot of lists about a lot of things, AI-generated or not.

“They have a lot of different versions; I think it’s a cool thing to like the black, but to me, the black is meh,” EB said. “The whites are my favorite, but I think the helmet is good – but I’ll say this: you rarely see people walking around in Commanders gear.”
The Jets, Browns, Jags, and Titans were ranked below the Commanders, and JP’s deadpan response was “well the Browns should be last.” Then again, three of those four teams are technically expansion teams and/or teams that have moved in the last 30 years, so....
