Commanders head coach Ron Rivera has yet to name a new offensive coordinator and will be skipping out on an opportunity to scout college seniors at the Senior Bowl. Instead, he's playing golf in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California. And the photos coming out are driving some Washington fans kind of bonkers.

I mean just look at the interactions on this tweet:

Robert Griffin III was asked during his weekly appearance with The Sports Junkies if he has a problem with Rivera apparently shirking his coaching duties to play golf.

"Let me put it this way," Griffin said with a hearty laugh. "When players are in their offseason and they go on vacation, do sometimes fans get mad at them because they're on vacation and they're not working out? Even if they've been working out for the past nine months? Yeah, fans get mad."

"So what this comes down to, guys, is optics," he said. "The optics don't look good. You go and play golf, you're not at the Senior Bowl, no one knows who the coordinator's gonna be and they think that you're just not focused on it. So the optics don't look great for Coach Rivera there.

"But he does have the right to live his life and go about doing the things that make him happy, and if not being at the Senior Bowl and not having an OC make him happy and he wants to go play golf, let him go play golf. I've got no problem with it."

"But I think we all can agree that this is a do-or-die year, this is make-or-break for Coach Ron Rivera in D.C.," Griffin said, "especially with the way the Giants played in year one, how the Eagles have turned their thing back around and gotten to the Super Bowl in a couple years. There's no more, 'Hey, we need time to build.' You've got to get it done now."
