Is Landphill right - is Ron Rivera to blame for the Commanders' sack woes because he dismantled the old O-line?

Here’s a hot take, but not really a hot take, because it’s entirely plausible: the Commanders’ offensive line stinks because Ron Rivera dismantled it?

That’s a thought BMitch & Finlay laid out Monday – well, actually, it started with Landphill – and to be fair, the group they have now has three new starters compared to last year and only Charles Leno has been a full-time starter for more than a year in DC.

But here’s what Andrew Mullins laid out in still only giving the offensive line 15 percent of the blame for Sunday’s loss:

“The Giants’ line has been injured, and they had to sign a bunch of guys off practice squads this week to play – the Commanders could’ve done that, but instead, they’re playing the same guys they’ve had all year who aren’t getting it done,” Landphill said. “There are better guys available on practice squads who will happily join your team, and they’ve chosen not to. They can’t pass block, and they can’t run the ball either!”

BMitch agreed with that, and when JP went to Jeff Walker, Landphill revealed he wasn’t done.

“A caller earlier referenced it: it’s not just that Ron Rivera and the braintrust has been incapable of building an offensive line – they literally dismantled a good one,” Mullins said. “They got rid of Trent Williams, Morgan Moses, and Brandon Scherff, told them to get out and replaced them with guys that suck!”

Take a listen to that whole notion above and see if you agree!
