The Sports Junkies: Would Bears head coach job be more desirable than Commanders?

The Bears eked out an ugly win against the Vikings on Monday night, though they couldn't put the ball in the end zone in a 12-10 victory.

Chicago is now 4-8 on the year, but hold the No. 1 pick thanks to a trade with the Panthers prior to last year's draft. With that kind of draft capital, The Junkies wonder if the Bears head coaching job, if Matt Eberflus is fired, would be more coveted than the Commanders job, assuming Ron Rivera meets the same fate.

Here were the thoughts from the Junkies.

"If [Matt] Eberflus is fired, you'd have to put the Bears ahead of the Commanders."

"Just because of the draft status," Bishop added. "They're gonna get to draft."

Bishop also believes whoever takes the Bears job would get to take one of the top QBs in the draft, whereas the Commanders job might come with Sam Howell, as Washington won't have the same level of a first-round pick.

"Let's not act like [Justin] Fields is the answer. Chicago is gonna draft a quarterback," Bish said. "I would be shocked if they didn't."
