Washington offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles is only expected to miss two weeks after suffering a dislocated kneecap, multiple outlets report.
Charles, who was injured on the second snap of his NFL debut in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Giants, will miss Washington's next game against Dallas but the team is hopeful he can return after its Week 8 bye, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. Washington hosts the Giants in Week 9.
"For everybody checking," Charles wrote on his Instagram Story on Monday, "I'm good!"
Washington head coach Ron Rivera didn't offer up much in the way of information about injuries — regarding Charles or others — on the record.
