Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton, the ultimate sixth man on the 1985-86 Celtics championship team, is in town for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden.

Ever a man of the people, Walton arrived at the Garden via… the T. That was nothing new for Walton, who has said he used to take the subway to games as a player to avoid having to sit in traffic.
What was new was the train Walton got to ride Wednesday evening. He was fortunate enough to get one of the new orange line trains, which Walton made note of while banging on the ceiling and repeating, “Celtics.”
