Jimmy Patsos called in to BMitch and Finlay after checking out prospects at the NBA combine this week, and had some names for Wizards fans to keep an eye on as Washington has two first-round picks and a second-round pick in the upcoming draft.
Patsos noted Zaccharie Risacher, the French prospect, as a potential pick for the Wizards at second overall, raving about the 18-year-old’s length and ability as a wing.
“He’s ready to play,” Patsos said. “He’s an athletic two, three, or four.”
As for their later picks, Patsos pointed to Purdue star Zach Edey and UConn standout Cam Spencer as potential choices. But wherever Washington goes with the draft, Patsos believes the franchise is heading in the right direction.
“They’re not gonna waste any picks,” Patsos said. “The future is bright.”
