Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced on Sunday that Doyle would be out for the entirety of the 2023 season. Placing Ray on Injured Reserve also means he's out for the entire 2023 season.

The 25-year-old Johnson was originally a sixth-round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Maryland.

After spending a little over one season in Detroit, Johnson was waived and claimed by the New York Jets, where he played 44 games over the past three seasons, starting five of them.

In 2021, Johnson ran for 238 yards and caught 34 passes for 372 yards, totaling four touchdowns. He also has experience in the NFL as a kick returner.

This will be McGhin's third stint with the Bills. The 27-year-old entered the league as an undrafted free agent by the club in 2019 out of East Carolina.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder also spent time with the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Giants in the NFL, as well as the New Jersey Generals of the USFL and Arlington Renegades of the XFL.
