Bills release pair of players one week before NFL Draft

The team now has 66 players on the roster

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills released a pair of players just a week ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

It was announced Thursday the team has let go of defensive tackle Branson Deen, while waiving tight end Armani Rogers with a non-football injury.

Deen spent all of last season on the Bills' practice squad, was elevated once, played a game, and was then released near the end of the season before signing a reserve/future deal this offseason.

Rogers was a dual-threat college quarterback who transitioned to tight end in the NFL after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Commanders in 2022. He played 11 games, including three starts that season for the Commanders.

He is the son of former Bills linebacker Sam Rogers, and was born in Buffalo.

Rogers reportedly tore his Achilles earlier this offseason.

The moves leave the Bills with 66 players on their active roster. They are an allowed a maximum of 90 players.
