Injured Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. went on Instagram Live last night with Yancen Pujols, and during the interview session proceeded to throw former Braves 1B Freddie Freeman under the bus.
Ronald Acuña Jr. was just on IG Live and according to our resident bilingual r/Braves user, he said:
- He won't miss Freddie Freeman.
- They had friction.
- Freeman didn't care when he was plunked.
- He was overbearing.
- He wasn't someone Ronald could talk to ever.

The interview, which was held in Spanish, has seen its comments disputed by Acuna directly on both Instagram and Twitter.

Certainly the timing of this controversy is unfortunate because it steals some of the thunder away from the Braves opening the season at home tonight.
"We never hear from you and this is what you say, you go out there and blast Freddie Freeman," questions John Fricke. "It's the timing, it's opening day, we're raising a banner. It's a distraction and the reporters have to ask."
Being teammates doesn't require everyone to be best friends, but there does have to be a certain level of understanding and respect that seems to have been disconnected between the two stars.
