Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Even just a little more rain couldn't put a damper on the spirit of the fans who came out to see the Buffalo Bills for their final training camp practice of 2026 at St. John Fisher University in Rochester.

In what was a much shorter camp than had been in the past, the Bills held their seventh and final session of this camp Friday morning before heading back to Orchard Park for the "Return of the Blue and Red" open practice at the brand new Highmark Stadium.

Second-year cornerback Maxwell Harrison did not participate on Friday. No specific injury was disclosed by head coach Joe Brady, who said Hairston is fine and they just wanted to be precautionary with him.

Left tackle Dion Dawkins was given a veteran rest day.

It was a really good day for wide receiver Joshua Palmer, who has impressed throughout camp. Palmer continued to make plays in the passing game, running crisp routes and grabbing contested catches.

He specifically had one contested catch over the top of cornerback Dee Alford.

Alfrod came down hard to the ground and had to be tended to by athletic trainers. He took a trip to the medical tent, but eventually came back to the field and resumed practicing.

The "Return of the Blue and Red" scrimmage Saturday will be the first football-related event at the new Highmark Stadium. Practice is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Brady will speak to the media after the session.

The Bills have two years remaining on their current training camp contract with St. John Fisher University, and will return in 2027.
