Longtime Bulls PA Man Tommy Edwards Retiring

(670 The Score) Longtime Bulls public address announcer Tommy Edwards will retire after working his final game this Saturday.

Edwards has worked in his position for 25 seasons -- from 1976-'81, 1983-'90 and then 2006 to present. He has been the voice behind the Bulls' iconic starting lineup introductions, which includes his signature phrase "And now...."

"My time with the Bulls has been a dream come true, and I feel so fortunate to have spent a total of 25 seasons with this iconic franchise," Edwards said in a statement. "I want to extend my sincere thanks to Jerry and Michael Reinsdorf, the entire Bulls organization and the world's greatest fans for their unwavering support. I will forever be a Bulls fan."

Edwards and his wife, Mary Lou, are moving to California to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Edwards will be honored Saturday with special in-game tributes. The Bulls haven't yet revealed plans for their PA announcers for the rest of the season.
