(670 The Score) The Bears will sign veteran outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo to a one-year deal, NFL Media reported.
Mingo, 29, has played seven NFL seasons split with five different teams. He has played for a different team each of the past four seasons. Mingo has 10 career sacks.
Mingo has primarily served as a reserve outside linebacker and special teams player during his career. He appeared in 16 games for the Texans in 2019.
The Bears haven't yet made the signing of Mingo official.
