GREEN BAY, Wis. (670 The Score) -- Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks is officially active against the Packers on Sunday, a day after being activated from injured reserve.

Hicks will return to play for the first time since he suffered an elbow injury in London on Oct. 6. He missed the last eight games after being placed on injured reserve. Sunday marked the earliest he could return.

Hicks has played in four games this season, recording one sack. He also missed the Bears' game on Sept. 29 due to a knee injury.

The Bears' other inactives are tackle Bobby Massie (ankle), linebacker Danny Trevathan (elbow), receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion), defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris (foot), tight end Eric Saubert, defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson and offensive lineman Corey Levin. Receiver Javon Wims (knee) is active.

Kickoff between the Bears (7-6) and Packers (10-3) comes at noon Sunday from Lambeau Field.
