(670 The Score) Cubs reliever Steve Cishek was carted off the field after being struck in the right knee by a ball while playing catch in pregame warmups ahead of a game against the Rockies on Wednesday afternoon.
Cishek is considered day-to-day, the Sun-Times reported. He was playing catch with fellow reliever Brandon Kintzler when the incident occurred.
Cishek, 32, is one of the Cubs' high-leverage relievers, carrying a 3.21 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 29 appearances this season.
