(670 The Score) Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson has taken an important step toward returning from his quad injury.
Johnson was listed as a full participant on the Bears' injury report Monday, which was an estimate for a regular practice. The Bears conducted a walk-through Monday, and the team planned to test out Johnson's quad injury before making a determination on his status, coach Matt Eberflus said earlier in the day.
Johnson has missed the last three games with the quad injury. He was listed as doubtful for to play Sunday and then ruled out before the Bears' 29-22 loss to the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Bears also listed safety Dane Cruikshank (hamstring) as a full participant in practice while linebacker Matt Adams (calf) would've been held out.
The Bears (2-3) take on the Commanders (1-4) on Thursday evening at Soldier Field.
