Bears rule out Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III for their showdown against Packers

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) — The Bears will be without two playmaking receivers when they host the Packers in a pivotal game Saturday at Soldier Field.

Bears leading receiver Rome Odunze (foot) and rookie receiver Luther Burden III (ankle) were both ruled out as the team released its injury report Thursday. Odunze will miss a third straight game while managing a stress fracture in his foot. He aggravated the injury in pregame warmups ahead of Chicago's win against Cleveland last Sunday.

Odunze had practiced in a limited fashion during preparations ahead of the game against the Browns. This week, Odunze didn't practice. He has 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games this season.

Burden suffered his injury in the Bears' win over the Browns.

The Bears listed linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (groin), running back D'Andre Swift (groin), tight end Cole Kmet (ankle/knee) and defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (personal) as questionable to play Saturday. The team ruled out linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (hamstring).

The Bears (10-4) and Packers (9-4-1) will kick off at 7:20 p.m. CT on Saturday from Soldier Field.
