LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) — After trimming their roster to the 53-man limit Tuesday, the Bears have retained some of their recently cut players on their practice squad.
The Bears on Wednesday signed 11 players to fill what will be a 17-man practice squad: linebacker Micah Baskerville, defensive lineman Travis Bell, fullback Robert Burns, tight end Stephen Carlson, offensive lineman Aviante Collins, linebacker DeMarquis Gates, defensive lineman Jalen Harris, offensive lineman Roy Mbaeteka, cornerback Greg Stroman Jr., receiver Nsimba Webster and safety Kendall Williamson.
All 11 of those players signed to the practice squad were with the Bears throughout training camp. Chicago is granted a 17th spot on its practice squad due to an exemption for Mbaeteka, who's part of the NFL's international pathway program.
