CHARLOTTE (104.3 The Score) — Bears receiver Rome Odunze is active for the team's season opener against the Panthers on Sunday.
Odunze was limited all week with a calf injury, but the Bears expected he would play. He missed five games in 2025 with a lingering foot injury. Odunze hauled in 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns last season.
The Bears' inactives are quarterback Tyson Bagent (back), defensive back Xavier Woods (groin), offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo (knee), offensive lineman Jordan McFadden, defensive lineman Jayden Loving, defensive lineman Jamree Kromah and quarterback Miller Moss. The Bears designated Bagent as their emergency third quarterback.
The Bears and Panthers will kick off at noon CT on Sunday from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
