Emma's NFL mock draft: Bears keep adding to the trenches with 10th overall pick

(670 The Score) With the 2025 NFL Draft set to begin Thursday evening, this draft cycle has already made history.

As of Monday morning, all 32 teams still owned their original first-round picks. That marked the latest point in common draft history in which no team had moved within the first round. That can be traced in large part to this draft class being considered underwhelming.

Of course, that could change by the time the NFL Draft starts Thursday, with certain teams intrigued by the prospect of trading up. For the sake of clarity in this exercise, we aren't projecting any trades. Here's my first and only mock draft for this 2025 NFL Draft, where the Bears hold the 10th overall pick.

1. Tennessee Titans – quarterback Cam Ward, Miami
The No. 1 overall pick was filled with intriguing options in each of the past two years. This isn’t the case for the Titans, who will select Ward with the hope that he can become a franchise quarterback in Tennessee.

2. Cleveland Browns – pass rusher Abdul Carter, Penn State
With star defensive end Myles Garrett locked into a long-term contract extension, the Browns will add quite the complement in Carter, who was a game-wrecking player at Penn State.

3. New York Giants – quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
The Giants have been eager to find their quarterback of the future, and that's especially important for embattled coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen. Enter the dynamic Sanders in New York.

4. New England Patriots – wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter Jr., Colorado
Quarterback Drake Maye represents the future in New England. And here, the Patriots bolster their young core with a two-way standout in Hunter.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars – defensive tackle Mason Graham, Michigan
One could argue that no player in this draft class has a higher floor than Graham, who could become a stalwart on any defensive line for years to come. The Jaguars can’t pass up that opportunity.

6. Las Vegas Raiders – running back Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
The Raiders are looking to just win, baby. Selecting Jeanty at No. 6 overall is a win-now move that gives Las Vegas some credibility in the stacked AFC West.

7. New York Jets – offensive tackle Armand Membou, Missouri
One year after selecting left tackle Olu Fashanu, the Jets will add their bookend with right tackle Membou.

8. Carolina Panthers – wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
Panthers quarterback Bryce Young took significant steps forward in his second NFL season. The 6-foot-4 McMillan lining up out wide in Young's third year could help him continue that breakthrough.

9. New Orleans Saints – quarterback Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
The Saints’ quarterback situation is filled with uncertainty, and this is their chance to get it right. Dart will pair well with new head coach Kellen Moore.

10. Chicago Bears – offensive tackle Will Campbell, LSU
There will be temptation for Chicago to take Penn State tight end Tyler Warren or go with a defensive lineman here. But the Bears still need to improve their offensive line even after offseason upgrades up front. Campbell can cement the team's future at left tackle and protect quarterback Caleb Williams for many years to come.

11. San Francisco 49ers – cornerback Will Johnson, Michigan
Top cornerback Charvarius Ward left San Francisco for Indianapolis this offseason, creating a void the 49ers need to fill. The All-American Johnson will fit right into their defense.

12. Dallas Cowboys – running back Omarion Hampton, North Carolina
This is the type of aggressive move that the Cowboys have made many times before. Dallas needs playmakers on offense, and Hampton bolsters its core significantly.

13. Miami Dolphins – defensive tackle Walter Nolen, Ole Miss
The All-American Nolen gives the Dolphins an important addition for their defensive front.

14. Indianapolis Colts – tight end Tyler Warren, Penn State
A dynamic threat in any system, Warren will help transform the Colts offensively. He becomes a key target for either Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones.

15. Atlanta Falcons – pass rusher Mike Green, Marshall
The Falcons could add a wide receiver for quarterback Michael Penix Jr., but their defense needs impact players. Green offers a threat off the edge in Atlanta.

16. Arizona Cardinals – cornerback Jahdae Barron, Texas
The reigning Jim Thorpe Award winner as college football’s top cornerback, Barron lands with the Cardinals as a stout presence in the secondary.

17. Cincinnati Bengals – pass rusher Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
There’s a need to improve the pass rush in Cincinnati, especially with Trey Hendrickson's future uncertain. Stewart is an intriguing fit.

18. Seattle Seahawks – pass rusher Mykel Williams, Georgia
Make it consecutive pass rushers picked as Williams is selected by Seattle. He was set back by an ankle injury last season, but NFL scouts know what he can bring.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – linebacker Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
An All-SEC linebacker, Campbell should be a key part of any NFL defense for 10-plus seasons. In this mock draft, the Buccaneers add a strong presence to their defense.

20. Denver Broncos – wide receiver Luther Burden III, Missouri
Burden’s production fell off last season, but a proven play-caller like head coach Sean Payton knows well what he can bring to the Broncos.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers – safety Malaki Starks, Georgia
Starks was a national champion and All-American during his time at Georgia. He has proved himself against top competition and bolsters the Steelers’ defense.

22. Los Angeles Chargers – tight end Colston Loveland, Michigan
Loveland could very well be selected higher in this draft. If he gets this far down the board, it’s hard to imagine him falling past No. 22 overall, as he'll reunite with former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles.

23. Green Bay Packers – pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College
The Packers have a glaring need to improve their pass rush. They'll do so with Ezeiruaku, whom current defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley recruited and coached at Boston College.

24. Minnesota Vikings – defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, Michigan
A monstrous presence for a defensive interior, Grant could be a key piece for defensive coordinator Brian Flores and the Vikings.

25. Houston Texans – offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas
Having traded offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders in March, the Texans are seeking a long-term answer at tackle. Banks won the Outland and Lombardi awards during his time at Texas.

26. Los Angeles Rams – tackle Josh Simmons, Ohio State
While Simmons is coming off a knee injury at the end of last season, he should be ready to play as a rookie. The Rams add protection for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

27. Baltimore Ravens – cornerback Trey Amos, Ole Miss
The Ravens’ pass defense struggled considerably last season, letting down a team that was otherwise strong. By selecting Amos, Baltimore brings in a needed cover cornerback.

28. Detroit Lions – wide receiver Matthew Golden, Texas
The Lions have an offense full of playmakers and add another one here in Golden, who boasts top-flight speed that will fit right in for Detroit.

29. Washington Commanders – pass rusher James Pearce Jr., Tennessee
Pearce’s biggest red flag comes off the field, but he’s a talented pass rusher who could work well in the Commanders defense. Pearce had a combined 17 sacks for Tennessee across the past two seasons.

30. Buffalo Bills – linebacker Jalon Walker, Georgia
Still seeking to get over the hump, the Bills select an outstanding linebacker in Walker, who's good enough to help elevate the entire Buffalo defense.

31. Kansas City Chiefs – offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr., Oregon
The Chiefs offensive line was exposed in a Super Bowl loss as the Eagles chased after quarterback Patrick Mahomes all game long. Conerly feels like a fit for head coach Andy Reid and Kansas City’s roster.

32. Philadelphia Eagles – wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
It seems like the Eagles land a prized prospect every year who most didn't expect to fall to them. That's the case with the final pick of the first round as Egbuka heads to Philadelphia.
