(670 The Score) Blackhawks defenseman Wyatt Kalynuk is expected to miss the next two to four weeks after suffering a right ankle sprain, the team said Wednesday.
The Blackhawks visit the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 13 for their regular-season opener. Given his current timeline for a return, that means Kalynuk will miss the first four to 10 games of the regular season.
Kalynuk, 24, had nine points (four goals, five assists) in 21 games for the Blackhawks last season.
