(670 The Score) Reliever Ryan Tepera has agreed to an MLB deal to return to the Cubs in 2021, according to reports.
The contract is pending a physical, and it will be worth $800,000, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reported.
Tepera, 33, posted a 3.92 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 21 appearances in the shortened 2020 season. He also had a strong strikeout rate, whiffing 13.5 batters per nine innings. Tepera has a 3.66 ERA across six MLB seasons.
