(670 The Score) White Sox left fielder Eloy Jimenez is out of the team's lineup for Game 1 of their wild-card round series against the Athletics on Tuesday afternoon.

Jimenez has been dealing with a foot sprain and was left out of the lineup after testing his mobility pregame. Leury Garcia will start in left field and bat eighth in the order. Jimenez will be available off the bench, manager Rick Renteria said. The White Sox are unsure whether Jimenez can start in Game 2 on Wednesday.

"It's too early to say," Renteria said.

The White Sox's lineup is as follows:

1.) Tim Anderson SS
2.) Yoan Moncada 3B
3.) Yasmani Grandal DH
4.) Jose Abreu 1B
5.) James McCann C
6.) Luis Robert CF
7.) Adam Engel RF
8.) Leury Garcia LF
9.) Nick Madrigal 2B

Right-hander Lucas Giolito starts for the White Sox, opposing A's left-hander Jesus Luzardo. First pitch is scheduled for 2:08 p.m. CT from RingCentral Coliseum.
