(670 The Score) The White Sox have placed third baseman Yoan Moncada on the 10-day injured list with lower back inflammation, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
The move is retroactive to Wednesday. Moncada previously missed more than a month with lower back soreness earlier this season. He's hitting .232 with three homers and 13 RBIs in 38 games.
In a corresponding move, Chicago selected the contract of infielder Zach Remillard from Triple-A Charlotte. He was hitting .236 with five homers and 25 RBis in 59 games at Triple-A. Remillard has never appeared in an MLB game.
The White Sox visit the Dodgers on Thursday evening.
