The NBA playoffs will continue.

Players have decided to resume with the postseason, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported, although the three games scheduled for Thursday have been postponed.

The goal is to restart games as soon as Friday and at least by the weekend, Wojnarowski reported.

The NBA postponed all three of their playoff contests Wednesday after the Bucks refused to take the floor for Game 5 of their first-round series against the Magic. The Bucks did so in a form of protest against racial injustice in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday.

NBA players met as a large group Wednesday night to discuss how to move forward. In an informal poll of sorts, the Clippers and Lakers voted to boycott the remainder of the NBA season. That led to concern that the NBA season was in jeopardy, but there was also strong support from other teams to continue the season.
