
OCALA - A dump truck truck travelling I-75 northbound hit the SW 66th St. overpass early this morning, the second time this year the bridge has been damaged in a truck accident.
UPDATE: I-75 reopened after 9 o'clock this morning after major delays northbound into Sumter County.
The same overpass was struck by a semi-trailer on February 22nd, causing major disruption of interstate traffic for weeks. Repairs to the SW 66th St. bridge were completed in the last week of March, at a FDOT estimated cost of $1.5 million.
