With the college football regular season over and no bowl games starting just yet we are at the sad part of the Smell Test calendar: Nearing the end of the year. But the last weeks of the 2022 NFL season promises to provide plenty of opportunities for us!
WHAT’S KEVIN'S FOOTBALL "SMELL TEST"?
It’s a contrarian handicapping philosophy. I look for the games where the public is convinced they have it figured out on a game's point spread or total and I go the other way. There’s more to it than that but for the most part, it’s the realization over many years that the house wins more than it loses and the house advantage comes from more than just the built-in vig/fee.
This is my 17th year doing the Smell Test on radio and/or podcast. I've had 11 winning seasons....5 losing seasons.
