The most important question for everyone around Washington involves the most important decision facing the Commanders' new general manager Adam Peters: What do you do with the No. 2 overall pick? While making a pick seems the most likely, and taking a quarterback the most likely positon, a lot is still totally up in the air.
Doc Walker (in for Craig Hoffman on the Hoffman Show) invites Al Galdi to join the discussion on the Commanders' draft strategy, particularly regarding their crucial decision especially when it comes down to quarterbacks: Is it Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels? Together, they dissect potential options, weighing the pros and cons of various draft prospects and considering the team's needs and aspirations.
For Galdi, "I think there's a lot to like with both Maye and Daniels. As things stand now, I would lean Maye over Daniels. I have concerns about Daniels staying healthy. If you watch him run, he is really impresssive as a runner, but he takes on contact, man. And we dealt with that with Robert years ago... and I don't know if you can coach that out of someone."
And that is just at the start of Doc and Galdi talking. Listen to the full conversation on the audio player above!
