Adam Peters, in his first week on the job as general manager of the Washington Commanders, conducted a pair of interviews for the vacant head coaching position on Thursday, speaking with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris.

And the thing that seperates these two from some of the other candidates the Commanders have been linked with is that they both have head coaching experience.

Quinn was the top man in Atlanta for five full seasons before he was fired after Week 5 of his sixth season with the Atlanta Falcons (2015-20). He compiled a 43-42 record and made two trips to the playoffs including losing Super Bowl LI to New England after losing a 28-3 lead over the Patriots

Morris had three seasons in charge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beginning in 2009 when he was just 33 years old. He compiled a 17-31 record with one 10-win season but missed out on the playoffs. Coincidentally, Morris assumed head coaching duties on an interim basis after Quinn's firing in 2020 and went 4-7 with Atlanta.

Craig Hoffman kicked off his show by delving into the latest developments, focusing on Peters' and the Commanders' interviews of Quinn and Morris. Listen on the audio player above!
