D.C. Police expected to announce arrest in connection with Brian Robinson shooting

D.C. Police may have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of Commanders running back Brian Robinson, according to Mike Garafolo.

Update 3:15 p.m.: The Metropolitan Police Department announced that a 17-year-old juvenile male (who was 16 at the time of the offense), of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Rob while Armed (Gun).

They also released still images of an additional suspect that was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.

Per Garafolo, D.C. Police have scheduled a press conference for Wednesday afternoon, and it's believed that they will announce an update on several active investigations, one of which is the Aug. 28 shooting of Robinson.

Amazingly, Robinson — a third-round pick out of Alabama in 2022 — was still able to make his NFL debut on Oct. 9 against the Tennessee Titans, only six weeks after the shooting.

Robinson scored his first career touchdown a week later against the Chicago Bears.
