The deal has not been signed and there is nothing official or final yet, but new details have emerged about the shape of what the Josh Harris-led ownership group for the Washington Commanders.

According to a report in Forbes, under the proposal right now, Harris would be the managing partner of the Commanders and own a 30 percent stake. There would be 17 other partners, with Mitchel Rales owning 12 percent and Magic Johnson owning four percent.

The proposal, which the NFL is now reviewing and has not ben signed, would call for Dan Snyder to be "immediately" paid $5.8 billion when the deal closes and $250 million over two years, a person with first-hand knowledge of the deal told Forbes.

The new report did not make any indication of the timeline for the deal or name any of the other 15 limited partners, who have not yet been identified.

Earlier on Tuesday, The Athletic's Daniel Kaplan told The Team 980's Kevin Sheehan his hunch is the deal will be signed in the next couple of weeks, but that the process of the deal closing, the NFL giving full approval and the Harris-led group taking control may not happen until the "start of training camp."
