"Does Washington need to add a receiver here?" Kevin Sheehan asked. "Whether it is in free agency or in the draft with one of their five picks in the first three rounds in what is a very, very good draft for receivers most people believe."
After rattling off the names of the available wide receivers in the free agent market place, Sheehan said it is the draft that is keeping the market down and could be where the Commanders find their next player.
Sheehan believes the team needs another receiver, but believes former first-round pick Jahan Dotson could be a guy who blossoms under new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. "The talent is still there," he said, and highlights the aspects of his game that are there to be built upon.
"They need another receiver for this young quarterback that they're gonna put in there so I would be in favor of them drafting another receiver, not in favor of them going for anybody in free agency," Sheehan said.
